Why Take This Class
Honest Americans enjoy a constitutional right to own firearms. That right, however, comes with the responsibility to know how to load, fire, unload, clean, store and carry that firearm in a safe and legal manner.
There are many reasons a man or woman may want to own a firearm. Personal protection in the home and self-defense when outside the home are the two most common reasons. It is our believe that anyone can pick up a firearm, but if your unaware of the consequences of your actions, generally someone will be injured, and possible fatal.
We at Golden Trigger strive for 100% safe handling of all firearms, and by good sound NRA approved training, this is accomplished.
In addition to the NRA Basic Pistol training, you are required to have two hours of in-person range time and live-fire experience as described in Ohio Revised Code 2923.125
If you have completed and passed the requirements as described in Ohio Revised Code 2923.125, you will receive a course completion certificate and an application for a concealed handgun license, which at that time; you could apply with your County Sheriff to be able to carry a handgun concealed.
Your County Sheriff may require additional documents and fees.
